Cleaning your chandeliers
Chandeliers collect dust and grease over time and often people do not even realize how dirty they have become. You can clean your chandelier by first dusting it with a dry, clean paint brush. Start at the top and work your way down. Mix a solution of 25% white vinegar and 75% water in a spray bottle. Wear cotton gloves, so that you do not leave your finger prints behind. Spray a lint free cloth (not the fixture) and carefully wipe the crystals and arms, again working from top to bottom. After you wipe each piece, use a second lint free cloth to dry. Use extreme care when working on the arms as these can break easily.
If you do not have the time or do not want to clean your own fixtures, The Bellows Shoppe provides expert in-home chandelier cleaning. In addition, if you are having work done on your fixture in our store, cleaning is a service many people choose.
